Circo Massimo
|
Southern Roma,
is better known as the Aventine and Lateran Hills.
Made up mostly of parks of green grass rather than
stone streets, this section is home to the Circo
Massimo, easily accessible from the metro station,
right next to the station is the Terme di Caracalla.
The churches in this area are very spread out, if
you are going to visit any of them make sure one is
San Giovanni in Laterno, founded by the Emperor
Constantine, the first Christian Emperor.
