At one time
this city was one giant fortress overlooking the bay
that bears its name. The wall still surrounds part
of the city. The road that surrounds this bay offers
access to Lazio’s most beautiful beach. The best way
to describe Gaeta is a serene beach town with an interesting
Duomo and Castello.
